The chunky teeth on the back display both the bold textural relief and the incredible ash wood grain. The timber that has been removed allows you to see how the fibres, growth rings and blemishes flow inside the timber, almost viewing it in cross section.
The back rest is carved by hand and gently cradles the sitter. Precise joinery forms the leg construction and displays modern craftsmanship at its finest.
